Yes, I'm new here.

Liebe Freunde,

Ich bin in Deutschland seit fast zwei Wochen, und jetzt muss ich darüber erklären. Ich besuche zwei Kursen, eine Sprachkurs und eine Arbeitsgemeinschaft über Politik und Gesellschaft. Ich bin noch neu hier, aber schon habe ich ein bisschen erlebt. Ich weiss nicht wo alles Klasse ist, aber ich bin nie verlaufen oder verfahren. Ich habe fast alles was ich brauche gekauft, Lebensmittel, eine neue Handy, und Kleider. Meine Wohnheim ist am Rhein, und ich bin zufrieden so nahe diese schöne Flusse zu wohnen. Ich bin spazierengegangen und muss oft. Ich habe Freunde getroffen und kennengelernt. Ich habe eine Paar Amerikaner/in Freunde, und auch Uni Studierende aus Morocco und Deutschland. Es gibt ein Buddy Program, das verbindet Austausch/JYP Studierende mit Deutsche die wollen Englisch sprechen und neue Leute kennen lernen. Meine Buddy ist eine Mädchen die wird nächstest Jahr eine TA in Ripon College sein. Ja, ich spreche viel Deutsch! Es freut mich dass ich mit die Asiatisch Studierende auch sprechen kann.

I've been in Germany for almost two weeks, and I'd like to tell you a little about it. I am taking two courses, a language course and a workship on Politics. I am still technically new here, as I reply to the curious Uni students, but I have learned a little about my new environment. I haven't gotten really lost yet, and have bought most of the things I need, including groceries, a new cell phone, and more clothes. The dorm is right next to the Rhine. I love the Rhine. I've been out for walks, and should go walking more often. I've met a couple people, some American friends, as well as Uni students from Deutschland and Morocco. There is a Buddy Program, which pairs Americans with Germans who'd like new friends and some English practice. My Buddy is the girl who will be the German TA at Ripon next year. Yes, I am using a lot of German. For example, I'm delighted to be able to communicate with the Asian students as well.
